The client was requesting a custom design for their new Joomla website, as well as a custom build and secure hosting. Security was a paramount concern for the whole project, given their large amount of extremely sensitive customer information.
Northwoods Bank was also looking to add new tools to its website. Specifically, they needed:
- A scheduling tool
- Live chat
- And loan calculators
Northwoods Bank was also looking to provide accessibility to their users with visual challenges and ensure that every user had as equal an opportunity as possible to view and use their online banking, information, and services.
Throughout the project, ‘corePHP’ designed and built the original and custom website based on the original requests and continuing communication from Northwoods Bank. We also added the tools they need to serve their customers better, as listed above. The security of their website was improved by our updates. We continue to host Northwoods Bank on our secure VPS servers, giving them dedicated resources and bandwidth they rely on with the security they need.
We provided accessibility through software called accessiBe, ensuring their compliance with Section 508 and WCAG 2.1. This software includes automatic updates, which helps keep costs low and ensure continued compliance.
We helped manage how Northwoods Bank managed live chat. Northwoods Bank needed a bot to interact with their customers first to answer basic questions before the system directed the customer to a human customer service representative. This helped direct customers to the right people. Conducted training for employees on the new system.
After the project, they chose to continue with us under our Digital Marketing/SEO and maintenance programs. We continue to manage their website’s extension updates and resolve any issues caused by updates, keeping their website secure from hackers and malware and ensuring uninterrupted functionality for their users. ’corePHP’ manages the digital marketing of Northwoods Bank, overseeing and continually improving their Google Search Ads campaigns, keyword rankings, analytics, targeting, and more. We also continue to create content for Northwoods Bank detailing their product offerings and offering useful financial information for their customers.
