A custom Joomla build for a bank, where the sensitivity of what the site touches set the requirements before any design conversation started.
The problem
Northwoods holds a large amount of extremely sensitive customer information, so security was the paramount concern across the whole project. They also wanted every user, including those with visual impairments, to have as equal an opportunity as possible to use their online banking and services.
What we built
We designed and built the site from scratch to their requirements, then added the tools they needed to serve customers. Accessibility is handled with accessiBe for Section 508 and WCAG 2.1 compliance, including automatic updates so compliance does not decay and costs stay predictable. Live chat triages with a bot answering basic questions before routing to a person, and we trained their staff on it.
What it did
They stayed with us afterwards on maintenance and digital marketing. We host them on secure VPS with dedicated resources, manage their extension updates and fix what updates break, and run their Google Search Ads, rankings, analytics and content.
