It seems like only yesterday! Three years ago, ‘corePHP’ was a small open source organization owned by a single person supporting a few Joomla! products and services. Today it’s a co-owned, full fledged LLC that builds extensions and provides tech support and customized products for both local and worldwide businesses. What happened?
In 2006 Steven Pignataro and Jonathan Shroyer realized that the work they were doing through the small company was attracting a lot of potential clients. They took a gamble and joined forces. In 2008, an overwhelming growth convinced them to build up their in-house operations. In 2009 they added several divisions (and over 8 new staff members) to the organization to adapt to the company’s increasing size. To say it’s been a wild ride is an understatement – but it has been worth every minute of lost sleep!
